I am falling in love with THE FUCKING WEATHER. It may not have as much information as weather.com, but it's so much funnier.

Redhunter, tell us about Fargo right now. I heard a foot of snow on top of a flood.
Is your place okay?

Excellent! I'm going to bookmark it now so I can check it before I go to school everyday.
It's always nice to know how fucking what it is. And that sentence made no sense.

It's FUCKING COLD at 34?? That fucking site didn't just go through months of fucking 6F and windy. Fucking 34 is sweet, except for the additional fucking snow.

Redhunter, tell us about Fargo right now. I heard a foot of snow on top of a flood. Is your place okay? Ah, yeah. My house is fine, thanks for asking. It's been crazy, the national guard has dug up soccer fields and golf courses (the ones NOT under water of course) to make earthen dams, they are using some 3 million sandbags, and I forget their name right now, but baskets full of sand which are used in dike building. I tried to get pics of helicopters carrying them the other day but I was trying to drive and couldn't catch it. I got a few pics that my passenger snapped, most aren't very good but I'll dig them up. There was a makeshift helicopter pad (second to our regular pad) put in our parking lot here at the hospital but it was taken out yesterday because it wasn't needed. That's cool I guess, but I was hoping to see Blackhawks landing and leaving from my work! Ah well, that's the crazy thing about disasters I guess! National Guard trucks and Hummers and whatnot all over the damn place. Constant helicopters watching dikes and checking levels. We had an all-time record river crest topping the old record from 1897 and easily passing the "Hundred Year Flood from 1997. My hospital was the only one in town that didn't airlift and ambulance out all their patients. Some were sent as far away as the Twin Cities. Schools have been closed since before this happened and we had a little blizzard just before the flood and another one yesterday. I had to taxi into work as my car is snowed in... again. There have been a few deaths, some accidents due to icy roads and water filled ditches but msotly things have gone as good as can be expected. Stores have been closed down for the most part as the mayor wanted as many unnecessary cars off of the road to allow for convoys of sandbag trucks (under police escort and with NG members directing traffic) to get to their destinations. There was a minor breach in the dikes on Saturday but there was a "red alert" program in place and within ten minutes of the lookout calling in the leak, there were some 400 people on site, pathcing it up and saving the day. It's been pretty cool how everyone has worked together to keep things under control. Our mayor got a call from Barack Obama the other day and federal disaster relief is on the way. Due to the good work and preventative measures put in place after the '97 flood, the damage was much less this time around despite having more water and both the Red River (which is the one i'm talking about) and the Wild Rice River (which feeds into it just before it gets here) at all time record setting levels. No one alive had seen the river as deep as it was this past weekend. I'm gonna dig out those pics, and as I said, they are mostly shitty looking as the zoom was out on my passenger's camera phone. One of them is what looks like a small lake with a big earthen berm in front of it. It is actually a golf course. The sign on the fence is hard to read in teh pic but I found it unintentionally hilarious. The golf course has sprinklers that are fed from the Red. The sign is in front of the submerged golf course and it reads, "Irrigated by the Red River." ;D Boy, I'll say! That's supposed to all be green grass, not water! Here is that sign. Yeah, right? It irrigated the fuck out of it!
