My vote goes to Medium and The Tudors.
What's your favourite TV theme?

Ba baba baaaa... Er, How I Met Your Mother is pretty cool. Also, the American Dad theme is really catchy.

Seconded. It's one hell of an earworm. I also like the UFO theme, mostly because I first encountered it in this clip. It's gone from youtube now but I saved a copy.

Too bad the newest version sucks balls. You mean everything from the 80s themes onwards? Because, damn, those sucked.

Meh, the percussion just isn't right for it. It's too fast and driving.

The Ending song to Red Dwarf:
"Its cold outside, there's no kind of atmosphere. I'm all alone. More or less."

Quantum Leap gets the nostalgia vote, but it wasn't a great theme, even if it was memorable. I loved both Farscape themes (though the first one more than the second one), with that really odd vocal sound I don't really know how to describe. But I think I'm just going to second Red Dwarf. The composer of that song, Howard Goodall, also presented several Channel 4 series about music, including one called Big Bangs, and I'd very much recommend the spin-off book for anyone with a passing interest in music, as it basically very readably encompasses music's history pretty much back to the stone age. Just don't let the fact that a lot of his music has a pretty God-y focus put you off.

Hellsing (1st anime).
Oh, and because I can, the theme song for Star Trek: TNG.
