Firefly. I don't watch much TV, and I don't consider a song from the radio that someone else co-opted for the show to be a "TV Theme Song." That said, if there is ever a Hollows TV series, and its theme song is "Demon Speeding" by Rob Zombie, I may just change my stance on this.

The old 60's Spiderman cartoon. I have that song on my iPod. Oh, and because I can, the theme song for Star Trek: TNG. I always felt that the Voyager theme was the best of the lot. Patrick Stewart's speech during the TNG intro was pure awesome, though. Looney Tunes! Carl Stalling was an amazing composer. I misread that as Carl Sagan... which reminded me of how great the Cosmos theme song was.

Hmmmm.....TV theme songs?
Some great instrumental ones would be "Magnum P.I.," "Hogan's Heroes," "Rawhide," and, of course "Sanford & Son." Lyrical? "Gilligan's Island," "The Flintstones," "The Jeffersons."

On a somewhat related note, you know how sometimes you have to unplug your modem/router for a full minute, then plug it back in, to reset your Internet connection? I time it by singing the Green Acres theme. Both parts.

My votes go to:
The A-team Knight Rider Dr Who (not the new remix) Knightmare - (was a UK childrens TV show on Channel 4) Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy
Don't know if the last one counts or not, as the music wasn't written specifically for the show, it's just an Eagles song.

It's also great for drunken sing-alongs (this applies doubly if all participants know both verses).

Knightmare - (was a UK childrens TV show on Channel 4) Knightmare had a theme song? I don't remember it.
