Allan Glenn, the guy who founded this site died on this day in 2005. I don't think he knew what he started when he decided to make a repository of insane quotes made by people who substituted their common sense for a promise of a big party in the sky where your day consists of thanking the guy on a big white throne twenty four hours a day for not being tortured.
Although I certainly didn't know you as well as others, your wit and attitude has made quite a mark on me that hasn't been forgotten to this day. You were quite ahead of your time and will always be remembered to myself and others who called you friend as an amazing human being.
In fond memory.

I didn't know him, but from what I've heard, he was an awesome guy. I have no doubt that he made many people's lives richer by being a part of them. I wish I'd have had to chance to meet him.
Rest in peace.

I wasn't around when WinAce was, nor did I know him on other forums. However, I am deeply appreciative of the thing that he founded and nutured.
For that, I thank him.

I also first found the site when Yahweh was in control. Still, I must thank WinAce for what he has created, as it has had a considerable impact on both myself and my father. I'm sad I never had the chance to interact with him. Rest in peace, buddy.

I didn't discover this site until after Distind took over. However, I think we can all agree that WinAce provided a necessary service--after all, if an entire website is mocking these people, that means there are those who disagree with them. In some parts of the South, that reassurance is greatly needed...

If he could see what this site has become since he left, he would be all... Well, I don't know what he'd be like. I never knew him. Nonetheless, I hope he's resting in peace, wherever he is.
