They're ideologically different and no matter how you lump them together there is no such thing as a Nazi Marxist or Fascist Communist, yeh I also hate that.
It's three different ideologies, it doesn't matter if they're right or left wing, point is they you can't compare Apples and bananas. I get sick of this, so sick of it.
Thoughts?

Nazi's were never left wing or right wing, point is Hitler hated Bolseveiks, he hated religion and wanted complete control. You can't compare apple and bananas, you can say they enforced things similarly, but this is why they're called Dictatorships, it basically sums up same thing. But Nazi's and Marxist can't be compared, no matter eventual goals, they run the Governments differently, end these insane comparisons of Fascist Communist, Marxist Nazi or other such nonsense. |

All totalitarian governments end up looking more or less the same, no matter what underlying philosophy got them to that point. It's one of life's little ironies.

During the 1930's there were massive clashes in the streets of major German cities between the Nazi SA ("Brownshirts") and members of the Communist Party. Both represented brutal dictatorships, but the Nazis hated Communism almost as much as they did Jews and other "undesirables."

Well, that's one of the big arguments I hear:
"Yeah, well the Nazis were a leftist movement, that's why they were called National Socialists. Fascism was a left-wing movement."

@ DevilsChaplain: I encounter that. Pure ignorance. The party was very pragmatic. It knew that "Socialist" was a designation well received in Europe at that time. So they adopted the name, not the political philosophy.

For the Nazis, people were either slaughtered in the name of God or for whatever occult tripe the Nazis believed in.
Ever read The Atrocity Archives? It's pretty bizarre that a theory involving the Nazis killing the Jews to open some kind of magical stargate makes more sense than what actually happened . . .

Yes, you are correct; Marxism and National Socialism (Nazism) have nothing in common. I recommend Benito Mussolini's "The Doctrine of Fascism" for a detailed, but accessible, introduction to Fascist political theory and practice.
