I've got some interest in the Jets-Colts game, since if the Colts win, they'll go on to play the Steelers, for whom I'm rooting. On the other hand, if the Jets win, they play next against the Patriots, and I'll have to wait until the Ravens-Chiefs game is decided tomorrow before knowing who plays Pittsburgh.

might end up watching some if the Discovery channel is as bad as it was last night. "Hitler got abducted by alien UFO submarines and lives inside teh hollow earth ZOMG and something about revelations" is not exactly a documentary worth watching. who managed to get into the playoffs with a 7-9 record seriously, what? Doesn't it sort of make a mockery of the competition if a team can qualify for the latter stages with a negative record?

Alas the Seahawks still managed to win the NFC West with a 7-9 record and despite the fact they would probably struggle to win the big east, as division winners go through to the playoffs. However, the home advantage because of this is laughable.
Predictions though - Definitely the Saints probably by 10+, and despite my dislike of the Colts, people betting against Peyton Manning in a prime time game not against the Patriots really ought to have learnt by now - also the Jets are too unpredictable - Colts in a close one.

What I say is that the Seahawks advancing is a traveshamockery!
I won't make predictions but just say who I rooting for. Saints and Colts for today.

seriously, what? Doesn't it sort of make a mockery of the competition if a team can qualify for the latter stages with a negative record? Well it is the first time in NFL history. The problem is at the Seahawks division is sad, so they won the division championship almost be default.

So both of my teams lost today. I wonder if I should just root for the Packers tomorrow in the hope that it will curse them...
Also the Seahawks just might win the Superbowl...

If you can't see my hat in this thread it's because I'm busy eating it - what the dickens happened last night?
I can't see the 'hawks winning the Superbowl especially if the patriots turn up, but on last night's evidence, stranger things have happened.

The Seahawks looked like they deserved to be in the playoffs yesterday. ....anyways Today we have the Baltimore Raven at the Kansas City Chiefs. The Game just started. Later at at 4:30 pm ET we have the Green Bay Packers at the Philadelphia Eagles. AKA, Aaron Rodgers vs. Michael Vick. I'm going to say the Ravens and the Eagles pull out wins today.

*is rooting for the Chiefs to win, since the Ravens would probably have a better chance of defeating the Steelers this Saturday*

I want to see the Jets lose. Not because I'm a Patriots fan, but because I just geniunely don't like the Jets.

And I'm the total opposite. I've been a Jets fan since I was 5. SO happy we won yesterday!

I'd rather see the Jets win, not because I like or dislike them or the Patriots, but because if the Steelers do beat the Ravens, I'd much rather see them play the AFC Championship game at home in Pittsburgh.
