Playoffs I don't care about this year.

Due to a rather severe bout of insomnia I actually managed to catch some of this. The eagles QB should have concentrated on passing, rather than running face-first into a mound of bodies half the time.

Yeah, Mr Vick has always been more of a running QB than a more typical pocket-passer, though the Eagles line is gonna have to step up next year if they want him to last the season without injuries.
This weekend's games should be awesome - The AFC games especially: Ravens/Steelers is always a war, and Pats/Jets should be extremely intense too. The NFC should bring the noise too, and I'm hoping the Falcons can outlast the Packers at the Dome for the second time this year.

I'm looking forward to the Jets and the Pats. It has the makings of a great game.
....or the Pats could just roll over them.
The Seahawks vs The Bears should also be good.

Defense-centric teams playing each other are always fun to watch. I'm hoping this is the game where someone finally has enough of Ward and hits him just hard enough that he can't grin when he gets up. It should be a good game. They both beat the other at home, a trend that I hope continues. The Jets managed to squeak it out against Indy last week. I really hope they play that well against the Pats. I want good things for Rex Ryan and the players he poached from the Ravens. (Good things, just not quite as good as the Ravens.) Yeah, I think so too. This is good because they rarely do. It'll be a nice change of pace.

Personally, as a Packers fan, I'm hoping for a little revenge this weekend. Our last game against Atlanta left me a bit sour what with Atlanta's 4th down incomplete pass being counted as a successful conversion and Green Bay's successful conversion being ruled just short. Rodger's fumble just one yard from the end zone didn't help to sooth the kick-in-the-balls feeling I had during that game either.
Nevertheless, I have some decent hopes for the Pack this weekend. Because even after all that crap, Atlanta still just barely won our last game by the skin of their teeth and at the last moment to boot. With any luck, there won't be any more BS calls/acts of God that will give Atlanta the win. =P

I think the Pats-Jets game should be interesting, because the Jets actually pulled out a decent performance in their last game. However, it could be, like m52nickerson said, another steam roller runover.

So the Jets were trash talking Brady apparently, and in response, Wes Welker made a few foot jokes subtly aimed at Rex Ryan. Now it seems that some of the Jets players are being sore sports about this situation, and are even hinting at purposely injuring Welker on Sunday's game. NFL officals have said that illegal actions or cheating by either team will cause previous comments to come under serious speculation. www.myfoxboston.com/dpp/sports/nfl/bart-scott-wes-welkers-days-in-uniform-are-numbered-20110115#

man the ravens are kicking some steeler butt right now... Not so much that they're doing well, but that the Steelers are doing badly up to this point. There's still another half of the game to play, but mental errors like the ones in the first quarter don't exactly fill me with hope here.

So after one big comeback (steelers) can the falcons recover from the disastrous end of the first half!?
