www.intoleranceagainstchristians.eu/fileadmin/user_upload/Five-Year_Report_Intolerance_against_Christians_in_Europe_-_online_version.pdfYeah, we got crazies too. TL;DR: - BAW, i can't call conscience objection to things i am legally required to do on my job - BAW, we can't say completely stupid things(condoms don't help against AIDS) - BAW, others point out that we say completely stupid things(yes they do, idiot) - BAW, others are legally allowed to do things we object to(gay kissing protest in front of church. PUT THEM ON THE TERRORIST LIST) - BAW, others say nasty things about us - random vandalism "To some extent the withdrawal of privileges from Christianity constitutes an unnatural break with history and identity and is an expression of hostility. This hostility does not stop at the removal of privileges. It causes marginalization and social exclusion, and it leads to the denial of rights of Christians. Equal rights for Christians are at stake." Oh yes, never mind the fact that half of Europe is currently governed by christian parties... Edit: oops, wrong forum

It is nice to be reminded that the US is not the only place to find these people.

I didn't go beyond the heading "How to read this report".
I was reading fluently at 4. I'm now in my late 60s with many reports written and read under my belt, so don't patronise me, please.

I love it when they claim random vandalism as oppression because they swear it doesn't happen to anyone else.

I love it when they claim random vandalism as oppression because they swear it doesn't happen to anyone else. At least some are hilarious.

And yet, most of these christians are total asswipes to other people they come in contact with.

Equal rights are exactly what they're afraid of.

It is nice to be reminded that the US is not the only place to find these people. I'm sorry, but the quote reminded me of this:

There's no need to say you're sorry. Monty Python is always appropriate.

There's no need to say you're sorry. Monty Python is always appropriate. Absolutely correct! There is NEVER a bad time for Python!

"We reccommend that these agencies keep doing the shit they already do, but specifically for Christians. Not because they don't already do it for Christians, but because we want exclusive protection." That's what they may as well have said.
Seriously, one of their objections was "displaying art that offends Christians" while another was "removal of religious symbols for being 'offensive.'"
I noticed that on the more ridiculous-sounding cases, they didn't specify things like the reasoning behind the position, who was doing it, or whether or not anything happened to them. And there was not a single formal citation to be found.
