Discrimination isn't religious freedom.

To be fair, I doubt she's doing it because she wants to, but more because she has to tow the party line, lest she get the Kevin Rudd treatment.

Oh no, she's blatantly said that she's for 'traditional values' and she's insulted the Greens, who basically put her in power (that, and our extreme gullibility).
And this is why I vote the Australian Sex Party.

Nope, after.
I know you're a Labour fanboy, Art, and I consider them better than the ironically named Liberal Party...
...But well, this is BS. WTF is she doing leading a progressive party if she doesn't share those views.

...Excuse me? Who the fuck are you calling a Labor fanboy?!
I consider them slightly better then the libs (which is why I vote for them in the lower house), but to say I like them is absolute bullshit.
Furthermore, since when are Labor progressive?

Have I got you mistaken with ltfred or lighthorseman in this regards? If so, I apologise. They're slightly more progressive than Liberals. *sigh*

I am quite conservative in my politics, though in social issues I am far more libertarian, a stance which isn't really reflected by any serious Australian party. I was, for a brief period, actually a paid up member of the Liberal party, though I am lately of the opinion that Liberal and Labor are interchangeably bad, although for quite different reasons.

That said, I would love to see Juli swimming back to Wales... preferably with a kiwi or brick in each hand, which ever is easiest to find.
