If every church was like this, I would have no problem with organized religion. I think it was a brave move to take this stand in Kentucky, and I applaud them for it. If every church were like this, gay marriage would be legal and no church would do this. It's... paradoxical. I agree with your first sentence, and it would be great, but I wouldn't call it a paradox. The people in that church would still be terrific, even if they didn't have this particular cause to fight for.
