Wow, Prince even hates his own fans. Well obviously a TRUE fan would force people to legally buy his songs before they could watch a baby dance to one.

Remember, you are talking about a man who once released an album as one long, contiguous track, so that people couldn't hit shuffle. You shouldn't be buying his music on CD anyway.

I just want to point out the fact that eMusic right now has a sale of 35 Rhino albums for 5 bucks apiece. And Purple Rain is one of them. XD.
Just good timing.

I'm sure such a fantastic claim is based on ample evidence you gathered from several research studies and empirical findings that appeared in numerous well-respected, peer-reviewed psychology journals. ...oh, you didn't? l ol, kindly stfu then. Hating and bullying your own fans who buy your shit is not the best way to ensure a financially successful career as a musician. Good thing, given that your behavior toward your fans would have sent you flying 9,000 mph into irrelevance anyway. tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/SmallNameBigEgo

Remember how well Load and Reload sold compared to Metallica? (I mean, hey. 3 Million copies is still more than I'll ever sell in my life. But still....)

I have "When Doves Cry" on MP3. Prince does not like me, but he likes the money I give him through iTunes.

WAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. But... but... sound is in bits! CDs are digital! What does he expect everyone to do to get music?

I may or may not get all my music through file sharing programs. Unless it's a musician that I really like and/or the album has more than only 2 or 3 good songs on a 15 song CD, because then I go out and actually buy the thing. That being said, I like some of Prince's music, but I would willing never pay for it.

WAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. But... but... sound is in bits! CDs are digital! What does he expect everyone to do to get music? Vinyl. Or casettes. He's trying to force them back from near (or total) death. Hey, if Nine Inch Nails can do it.... It's kind of a moot point, though. He uses a lot of synths. While you can have an "analog" synth, he uses digital ones, even if not exclusively. He's producing digital music (in bits) and is against us listening to it in digital form (in bits). Maybe he just wants us to not buy his music at all.
