Someone else (http://www.sonichu.com/cwcki/Internet) also calls the internet stupid and an obsolete thing of the past. How does he get his porn then?

"I'm too HIP for you losers to buy my music." Doesn't he have HIP problems? I dunno, but I'm willing to bet he'll soon have CASH FLOW problems. Oh, CWC, how versatile your idiocy is...

*shrug* He said he's not going to release any more albums, and if he sticks to his word on that, I'm willing to bet that, once people who like his music have already bought/torrented all that they want, he's going to see a bit of a decline in income.

Laugh at me all you want, but all I've ever known about Prince is that he made my parents angry with his 'loose' music, so the whole 'loving Islamic countries because everyone has to conform to 'modesty' laws' thing does not compute for me. Sometime in the nineties, Prince found Jesus. Specifically, Jehovah's Witness flavor. There are many of his old songs he no longer performs due to them being "sinful", so I have heard. He's also a believer in chemtrails. I shit you not. *shrug* He said he's not going to release any more albums, and if he sticks to his word on that, I'm willing to bet that, once people who like his music have already bought/torrented all that they want, he's going to see a bit of a decline in income. He owns a club out in Vegas, he still tours (AFAIK), people will continue to find his music, and he has made a fajbility-illion dollars. He'll be ok. FUN FACT: His last CD, a triple disk set with two albums by him and one by one of his new proteges (that no one cares about) is still on the shelves at my Target. It came out when I first got a job there. It started at about $20. It dipped down to $0.99 for a while and is now at $4.99.

Decline in income from "fucking rich" is still often rich. Prince had a lot of commercial success, and can likely coast on that for the rest of his life. Given the fact that his record career ceased to have any relevance in the 90s, I'm pretty sure quitting now is kind of a moot point. He'll likely still get residuals because even now several of his songs sometimes appear in popular media, and I'm sure his tours still bring in people who remember him for the days when he was something other than a pretentious tosser, but I'm betting he could get by without them too.
