In summary:
-Concern is warranted; panic is not. -keep your distance from people. -wash hands frequently with soap and water, and do not touch your face. -maintain a healthy diet, with excercise and sufficient rest.
Which probably doesn't tell anyone here anything that they don't already know, but still, it probably bears repeating. And hey, Thunderf00t's vids are pretty watchable.
It's good, commonsense stuff, with a nice explanation for how the virus came to be and what the authorities are doing around the world to try to head it off.

Most of all, get a forking grip. It's not the Black Death. This. When the weekly swine flu death toll begins to overtake that of regualr flu, that's when I'll be worrying.

Well, with the swine flu, it's a good idea to take precautions, but that's as simple as washing your fucking hands.

Most of all, get a forking grip. It's not the Black Death. That's pretty much what I said about SARS, bird flu and all the other slightly different variations of the flu (that got media attention). But did anyone listen (or at least think it through)?

I find the media and laypeople's obsession with Swine flu disgusting and borderline offensive because ignored tropical diseases like schistosomiasis, malaria, and trypanosomiasis kill millions of people currently.
