I normally don't do horror, a lot of the genre has too much gore for me and I'm a bit of a sissy (I saw Jaws in college and was scared to shower for about a week and The Sixth Sense literally made me shit bricks). But I love David Tennent so I dragged my husband to see it with me and hold my hand during the movie.
Ok, so I haven't seen the original but I really liked this one. It was funny, a little tense at times, no gore in sight and I got to see my doctor curse.
Of course, now I'm kinda curious as to how those who have seen the original and/or are fans of the genre feel about it.

Sixth Sense literally made me shit bricks Damn, I didn't know horror movies could break the laws of chemistry and biology. Not to mention all those edges and corners can't have been kind to your sphincter.
