For the rest of those who have space marine and I haven't shot at yet I figured I'd toss a thread out there to get steam connections made as much as possible and see who was interested.
I've been considering getting a mic finally, and given how much I suck(I need to die 20 more times by explosives to have the full battle damage armor) you'd get to hear me swear, and possibly hear my fiancee mock me.
If you're interested my steam ID is Distind, and I'm already friends with the mighty tibbels(who did damn good for his first time playing). Just post here so I have a clue who it is I'm friending.

For some reason, all I can think of was the two guards for the Emperor in Oblivion, and how they would shout that not-at-the-same-time near the final part of the tutorial dungeon.
And then one of them would die as soon as the Emperor died even if no enemies were around.

I have it on 360. Haven't had time to get into it all that much, but what I have played has been a blast. (Other than my frequent MP deaths. But that should be less of a problm as I level.)

For the Greater Good! /missingthepoint
That said, I've got it on 360 and will start multiplayer in a few weeks once I've renewed my XBL subscription.

I have a feeling I'd get slaughtered in online play, I'm not that good at action games. Loving the solo campaign, though.

I have a feeling I'd get slaughtered in online play, I'm not that good at action games. I die all the time, but it's still fun. The one where you capture points is more fun, as you can get XP from capturing points, which makes leveling easier. Since people are always moving around, it makes it easier to find enemies as well. Try it, you might like it. If you don't, you aren't out anything.

If you're halfway sneaky once you get the stalker in mp you can probably own at least a few people. I go to town when the other team has a bunch of heavy weapons guys, with the burst fire option it's rather easy to take down someone who has a heavy bolter while face to face with them. At range it's easier. If you like dying though, I recommend the assault role. It's great for dying before you do anything.

That's a shame, the other thing I'm enjoying is wading into a crowd of Orks with my power axe... I'm going to be getting my huge 40K fix soon, though, in the arrival of my copies of Dark Heresy, Rogue Trader and Deathwatch. I'm rebuilding my collection of pen and paper rpgs now that my soon-to-be-ex-wife isn't around to freak out at me daring to spend money on something that I like.

I would play, but i just realized I have been broadcasting shot over my built in mic since I got the game, which is really pissing me off, because the game has no option for turning off your mic.

Switch the steam mic settings to push to talk. It's in Settings -> Voice.
