Regarding the comment: Go to school, which is public, get a degree, which is socialism unless you're rich, get a business by using largely publicly funded roads and publicly funded work force, and do your share by paying back to the system that helped you. If there are societal leeches, it's those who refuse to pay into the public resources that they've use to get them far. Much like the person making that comment. Dictatorships: Iran, North Korea Socialism: Norway, Canada That's quiet a large pool to choose from, buddy. Depends on what you consider "socialism" all of the nordic countries might gualify for example.

My question is how can a person move to such a country if they're poor and can't afford to? Will the rich pay for it, and if so, how does one jump on such an opportunity?

Stopped reading here because this is precisely where their argument... I think breaks down would be too gentle of a phrase. I think "crashes horribly and starts burning and exploding" would be closer.
Did you think school was free? Even if you had a full grant, had the semesters completely paid off, I'm pretty sure you won't be able to afford the time to go to school due to the three jobs you work just to make rent.
Oh, and not to mention that even if you have a degree... good luck finding a job in your field. You'll probably go back to working those three jobs, but at least you'll have the satisfaction of knowing you got a degree... or another degree since you likely had one already.
You can't pull yourself up by your bootstraps if you can't afford them. And just because you've got a degree doesn't mean you don't become poor, either.
They literally think that the poor are lazy and intentionally uneducated.

Maybe we need an episode of the tv show "Undercover Boss" where a politician has to go live like one of his poorer constituents. Let's see what kind of wonderful worker he is when he has to hold 2 jobs plus look after his kids, all without any kind of paid leave or affordable health care. Yeah, just go to the fridge for food. Just go to the bank for money - that's where it comes from right? I say we have show where teabaggers swap lives with those who they bad mouth for 2 months to 4 months, and see what if they change their opinion of those said people... brendanrizzo, I admire you, not even a month of watching just MLP:FIM could restore my faith in humanity that the teabaggers have stole from me... You clearly haven't read all my posts on both these forums and the main site. Compared to some other people, there is very little admirable about me. I'm sure that some other posters here consider me borderline reactionary because I tend to go overboard...
