My brother has been trying to get on to D&D Online for the past few weeks to no avail. Each time he tries, he gets this error:
System.Net.WebException: The underlying connection was closed: Could not establish secure channel for SSL/TLS.
System.ComponentModel.Win32Exception: The client and server cannot communicate, because they do not possess a common algorithm
We've weeded out the usual suspects; certificates, malware, router issues...all that's left is an issue somewhere in .Net 1.1, upon which the Turbine Launcher is built. We've reinstalled the framework itself, along with SP1, and we're still getting the same result.
I ask you, does anyone have a solution to this? This crap's giving me a headache...there's a hotfix out there somewhere, as Turbine Customer Support explicitly stated that its the most likely solution, but I have NO idea how to get it from support because every time I try to find a simple customer support e-mail address, I either get shunted into a Visual Studio forum (of which I am not a member), or I get a phone number, and bro has scant minutes on his phone that he'd rather not waste.
