I'm a fan of Dragonball. All of 'em, even GT. Hope you're as upset as I am about the upcoming nightmare of the movie "DragonBall Evolution." Well I'm fucking outraged. Where's DragonBall Creation, huh? HUH?!?!?! </poe>

As others suggest, this is what the Republicans are reduced to. Pure, content-free, frothing-at-the-mouth hatred. AKA the theocons and paleocons. Where the neocons go I'm not sure - I can only think that the Libertarians could possibly come closest, pushing them towards being the USA's Liberal Democrats. Which might be a positive thing for US politics, but it'll never happen.

Well this isn't a replacement. Also, I think TK2009 is doing OK, it just needs more posts and more crazy. I said replicate, not replace. Fair enough, but this is a new entity...'tis TK:GBE. It's like, totally different. Whilst not actually employing any innovation whatsoever, apart from what appears to be an emerging tendency towards self-referential metanarrative.

Here, I gave you another karma. ^_^ Thanks. Sent one back... Once again this reminds me of how I can never separate the people on the forum from their avatars. Unless I check the picture thread I always think of you as a cookie-thieving rabbit. Yeah, I'm insane. ...and come to think of it, that's probably a confession of sorts.

you're interested in making drugs or explosives (please no explosive drugs). Well it would be one solution to the War on Drugs... Also, I'm not sure what I have to confess, even though I keep hovering around this thread. I get the worrying feeling that this and the fact that I only have +1 karma after 75 posts have the same underlying reason.

Nothing compares to the old thread killer. Every attempt to replicate it has failed. Well this isn't a replacement. Also, I think TK2009 is doing OK, it just needs more posts and more crazy.

I wonder if we could get two lawsuits out of this.. I'm sure a Litigious Trilogy is on the cards with a bit of thought.

Any thread killers out there?
I feel like one at times. I don't know if it's just me spouting stupid shit for which there's no rational response (cause I'm a goofy bastard and have no pride), or because I just get ignored. Having no pride I don't let it bother me. But I've noticed it on more than one message board.
Anyone who feels the same, please post your thoughts. Anyone who thinks I'm just a goofy bastard thread-killing asshat, ignore me. I'm OK with that, too.

I don't think that's such a good idea. I mean people's emotions (and by extension irrationality) play a significant role in economics. I somehow don't think it's really something physicists would excel at. ...and you think economists do? Because really, the dotcom boom wasn't prevented by smart economic theory.

I wonder how many institutions offering degrees in geocentrism will spring up. You raise a good point. What else can we make a legit "science." Now Hiring: Schizphonic's University of Considered Knowledge seeks professors to teach courses in the following fields: ... Can't manage that lot, but I could try CT104, the Politics and Theology of Diana. There's a rather spiffing journal called the Daily Express that has done some fantastic articles on it. And the OP, yeah, pure bullshit.

*We have 16 spy agencies in this country. Every single one of them agrees that our invasion of Iraq has only increased the chances of another terrorist attack on U.S. soil. Also, what the hell do we need 16 spy agencies for? To avert the disastrous, catastrophic and simultaneous failure of 15 spy agencies. Of course, the same happening to 16 is impossible.

Because of crap I see on the news ...and that's your problem. Because 99.99% of the world never makes it onto the news, only what is "newsworthy". And what's newsworthy is usually chaotic or vapid depending on circumstance, so anyone who takes the news too seriously is convinced they live in a meaningless, chaotic world. This is probably how Rapture Ready comes about, or at least perpetuates, come to think of it.

...because all of it is supposedly "created", that's the apparent commonality. Of course, the makers of my watch put it all together, saw that it was good, and hence put "Casio" on it quite blatantly. I, on the other hand, don't have "Yahweh" on me anywhere; it's not even spelt out in my acne or anything.
