Just reading the article doesn't even begin to explain this. You have to see the video. Even the hosts of Fox & Friends were clearly freaked out by Williams. He started out by creepily hitting on Gretchen. He called Obama and Biden the Three Stooges (one of the hosts points out that that's only two, but Williams just plowed on). And he didn't just "add" that Obama and Biden are the enemy-- he screamed it. Nearly to the level of, "SHE'S NOT A CHRISTIAN!?" On a side note, FOX's headline for the video is "Hank Williams, Jr. Rates 2012 GOP Field." They make no acknowledgment that his behavior was odd. |

I really don't think they needed to pull the song, over the stupid retarded comments he made on FOX News, ...but yet again I do have somewhat of a libertarian(social/civil libertarian, I hate economic Libertarians) streak in me. I really don't care what they say, as long as someone is willing to call them out on it, and nail their asses into the ground over it. That being said, 1. Idiot pulled a godwin, therefore you FAIL. 2. I'm really sick of this whole "Obama is the enemy/liberals are the enemy" bs in American politics...given the fact that it's the GOP whose fucking polices(both domestic & foreign) endanger more lives....but silly me, I forgot the GOP owns one very fucking shiny mirror.

As I said in another thread, some Republicans and Tea Partiers consider Obama and Democrats their enemies, not anyone else. They'll do even business with sworn enemies of the USA if it will somewhat help them win over Obama in 2012 (or simply to gain more money some of which they'll donate to their candidates).
Calling it insane would be insulting to people mentally ill. Those Republicans are simply evil.

My problem is the song itself has nothing to do with the comments made,it reminds me of what the country music stations did to the Dixie Chicks some years ago...though I can see where you're coming from and do have a point.

The song may not be to blame, but they likely have to pay the guy royalties every time they use it. So continuing to use the song would be financially supporting the shit stain.
