I know there is already a thread concerning Cain's views on abortion, but this latest comment is so facepalm-worthy that is deserves its own thread, IMO.
He's making Bachmann look like a fucking scholar!

We'll just add that to the looooooong list of reasons Herman Cain should never be allowed anywhere NEAR the White House. Or even politics in general.
1) Believes that being gay is a choice.
2) Believes that if you are out of work or poor, it's your fault.
3) Advocates legislation he knows would be impossible and disastrous because it sounds good.
4) Is ignorant of basic diplomatic techniques and even basic international geography.
5) Is transparently anti-intellectual.
6) Panders to the lowest common denominator in society.
7) Looks a lot like the "Rent Is Too Damn High Party" guy with a shave.
8) Is crapping all over the political process.
9) Is shadier than a Georgia magnolia in summer.
10) Refuses to clearly state any opinion unless aggressively backed into a corner, and even then will hedge what he said as quickly as possible.

You realize all those are reasons why he's so popular among republicans right now, right?

Between Palin, Bachman, and now Cain, I am seriously beginning to think Republicans have some secret agenda to discredit any non-white/females as political leaders. Next thing you know, they'll bring out some flamboyantly gay dumb-as-a-brick candidate just to show us that only white straight men can govern a country.
That would be a good theory, except that the white straight male candidates are saying some pretty stupid things to.

This goes beyond mental gymnastics, and right into mental contortionism. A mind should NOT be able to bend like that, GDI.

Not true! Herman Cain has answers to every argument made against them; they're just secret is all. How will he make the 999 Plan help the poor? Secret! Who will he name to the Federal Reserve to get our economy back on track? Secret! Herman Cain has the answers to everything, we just have to elect him first to find out what they are! Brilliant marketing strategy.
