1. The Pill completely destroys a woman's sex drive for the entire time she's taking it.
I thought birth control turned everyone into sex-hungry beasts? Which is it?
2. Any form of sexual stimulation that does not end with a man ejaculating directly into his wife's vagina is freakish, disgusting, and an affront to God.
Well, then, god needs to stop making freakish, disgusting affronts so enjoyable.
4. The Pill prevents implantation of the blastocyst, and is thus an abortifacient.
This is a person, apparently:
"Look, dear, it has your membranes!"
5. Condoms prevent feelings of intimacy and/or commitment from resulting from sex.
Really? A bit of latex is magically going to block any emotional attachment? Damn, they make those things impenetrable these days -- even abstract concepts can't get through!
6. Condoms and other contraceptives "don't always work"
True, but the number of pregnancies prevented by condoms, the pill, et al., is drastically higher than the number that occur in spite of protection being used. Additionally, teaching people how to use contraceptives properly drops the failure rate even further, which is why sex ed. is so important.
12. Contraceptive use is the primary cause of high divorce rates.
I would LOVE to see how they try to back this one up.
