www.azcentral.com/news/articles/2011/10/31/20111031ohio-pastor-halloween-pamphlets.htmlA church in Ohio got into hot water with its neighborhood when it handed out the Chick Tract "Mean Momma" to three and four year old kids. Church, here's a thought for you: READ the tract BEFORE you hand it out. That could have saved you a LOT of grief. In all honesty, I'm stunned any church still uses the things. Toilet Paper would be a better use of them.

Did any kids toilet paper the church?

Toilet Paper would be a better use of them. Nope. I can tell you from personal experience that they suck at that just as badly.

I just recently watched a YouTube clip discussing "Hell Houses," which are displays set up by evangelical Christians and promoted as haunted houses for kids. Once you pay for the tickets and get inside however, you're treated to a horror show of botched abortions, gays dying from AIDS, and all manner of gut-wrenching propaganda - right up until the end, where they try to convert you.
It's no mistake. Most parents aren't driving the fear of God and Hell into their children anymore, so the churches have stepped up to the plate. They can apologize after the fact, but once the child is traumatized and susceptible to conversion - well, that's all that counts.

I am not attributing malice to this situation. Stupidity will suffice.
