NO IT DOESN'T! NOT IN AMERICA!
Ironbite-of course....if it's illegal there are people who will exploit others.

Fuck them sideways. If abortion ever becomes illegal in Canada and I wind up getting knocked up... fuck the law, I'm finding me someone to perform an abortion. I have many reasons for this: Silly nightangel, they don't care if you don't look after the child, or even how your body reacts to it, just that you pop it out. (if you can make it become a soldier too that would be even better) It is depressing that the pro-life campaign (the proper pro life campaign the one which actually cares about all lives) fights most of the problems of the aftermath of pregnancy and giving birth by just saying that people should put their kids up for adoption. I understand their sentiment, and they are right there are plenty of parents who want to adopt a child. Unfortunately the system is not that nice and in the real world most children put up for adoption are the ones with serious disabilities that no one wants to adopt. We need to sort that out first before we add to the load. I was thinking though, given this personhood's definition of what a person is, wouldn't adult stem-cells also count as people? After all if we take the from fertilization point, the direct result after the initial merger is that of a single stem cell which multiplies and diversifies with time. As such, if identical twins who share the same DNA and who would both be considered persons at initial cellular separation wouldn't any stems cells of adults then also count as persons, because those stem cells would be identical to what one of the twins were like at a much earlier stage?

The second they start outlawing abortion, I hope women start mailing their unwanted children - and the hospital bills from the birth - to the governor of their respective state.

"We mourn with heaven tonight over the loss of Initiative 26, which would have provided the hope of life for thousands of God's unborn babies in Mississippi," said the commission's director, the Rev. Jimmy Porter. "Instead the unborn in Mississippi will continue to be led down on a path of destruction to horrible deaths both inside their mothers and in laboratories." Does this qualify for the main page? Also, did anyone else notice that every person who supports the bill is male (or female with a fundie background)? This scares me more: Keith Mason, co-founder of the group Personhood USA, which pushed the Mississippi ballot measure, has said a win would send shockwaves around the country. The Colorado-based group is trying to put similar initiatives on 2012 ballots in Florida, Montana, Ohio, Oregon, Nevada and California. Voters in Colorado rejected similar proposals in 2008 and 2010. The farthest north my company reaches is TN, which still, very much, is in the Bible Belt!

And California? They think that shit'll fly here in California? Fucking idiots didn't learn from Prop 8 very well, did they? Oh sure, it passed. But it's become their trojan horse and I'd imagine they regret ever putting it on the ballot (or, conversely, they're so deluded they think they're winning right up until the supreme court decision).

The comic was notorious for being more homophobic and more poorly-drawn/written than all the Jack Chick comics combined.

Given the sample in your signature, I don’t think the second sentence in your post was actually necessary…
