You know, they (by which I mean religious conservatives in general) have gone below the lowest of the low by this point. I have lost all ability to be shocked and appalled by their actions. At this point, a religious conservative, even one of the GOP frontrunners (and especially them) could murder and eat a baby on live television and I would not be surprised. It is impossible for them (and my opinion of them) to sink any lower, as demonstrated by the fact that no religious fundie, whether Catholic or Protestant, sees anything inherently wrong with child molestation. So in short, this behavior from Arpaio does not in the least shock me.

But yes, Arpiao seems to ignore anything that doesn't directly favor his own stated objectives. How many criminal warrants has he failed to serve still?
