I’m honestly surprised they haven’t gone down this route yet.
The GOP field and its candidates have gotten so ridiculous this time around. Hopefully it wins Obama a second term.
As much as I loathe him for not having a spine and for refusing to toe at least a little left of center, he is still better than the other option.

Maybe it's wishful thinking on my part, but I know if Obama was me and I got re-elected I would have more of a spine and be more confrontational in my 2nd term knowing that I don't have any re-election to worry about down the road because my term limit would be up. Sure it isn't the best way to be a President, but at least to me it would be logical if he does suddenly find his back bone and keeps it after getting re-elected.

The problem with that line of thought is that if Obama wins a second term, he would have to present a positive image of the Democratic Party to help them retain the White house in the post-Obama era. So nothing would change.

Maybe he is a leftist just having to save face with the congress hand he has been dealt and try to keep them in the circle of "party of no" and him in the circle of the one who tried to compromise.

I am reasonably sure he is leftist. If you look at a photo of when we ran for president against how he looks now, it looks like he has aged 30 years. I really think the republican plan is to kill him by giving him a heart attack or something. They sure as hell don't seem to be able to run for president themselves, but they are more than capable of causing untold torment to the poor man.

All presidents look older than they are, Sylvana. It's a very stressful job.
...If you think about it, this means that, since all the recent former presidents who were Republicans lived to their 80s or 90s, they clearly didn't care much for America after all. (As for Carter, who is a Democrat and still alive as of today, well, he was a one-termer.)
Sorry if this is in any way incoherent.

Obama's just a Kenyan communist Nazi looking to advance his Zionist agenda. /birther

Funny you should put it like that. Y'see, notwithstanding a few occasions where he's appeared on camera as part of one angle or another, Donald Trump has been a silent partner of Vince McMahon, ever since the Federation years.

You know what would be really funny?
If Obama hosted the next GOP debate.
