Maos ( Dinornithidae) had no wings! They were the only birds that have no wings! Even other non-flying birds have wings. This intrigues me. It's spelled Moas, and they're extinct. Well, except for some claims that cryptozoologist look into.

Today I learned there has been terrestrial life for 3 billion years which is pretty impressive considering life is ~3.5 billion years old.

I thought life had been pushed back to 4 or 4.5 billion years. The planet is 4.5 billion years old and while 4 billion is possible that was during a period of very heavy bombardment with space debris. Although this does suggest life could be older than I said.
