Oh, hey, look...some people who don't deserve their jobs. I wonder if they'd like me to take their place? I can at least be, ya know, honest.

I'm starting to wonder if I'm more qualified to work at a pharmacy than these people...
...Nah, but I'd make a better conscience than what these goons have.

You left out the best part! Further analysis looking at the relative income of people living near the pharmacy found that people who lived in poorer neighborhoods were more than 60% more likely to be incorrectly told they couldn’t have the drug because they were too young than people who lived in more affluent neighborhoods. Everyone who is surprised by this, raise their right hand. ( * glues right hand to his side *)

...can't the pharmacies that do this be investigated/inspected and heavily fined, with the offending pharmacists and pharmacy technicians terminated? It's not like doing so is infeasible. We already do the same thing with stores that sell tobacco/alcohol to minors, and the fines are set high enough to pay for the whole operation itself. And is that honestly more important than protecting reproductive rights? Hell, that aside, do we really want people who are that careless and ignorant of their own jobs to be dispensing drugs that have myriad possible dangerous interactions and side effects?
Personally, if I were a pharmacist, I'd be giving out Plan B like candy to teenagers who wanted it. Do these people really want more teenage pregnancies? Do they really want more abortions and more "welfare queens" (as ignorant wingnuts put it)? I mean, seriously.

Why does it fucking matter how old they are? Because they "shouldn't be doing that stuff yet"? It's not like the problem is going to go away if they just ignore it. Fuck these people in the ass with a cactus. *RAGE*

And this is why pharmacists who leave out bowls of free condoms in areas where kids can get them without being gawked at are awesome.

Fuck these people in the ass with a cactus. *RAGE* It shouldn't matter, but the law says you have to be 17 or older to get it without a prescription and the Obama administration is refusing to change this despite the FDA saying it is a really, really good idea. But, it's okay, he knows better than those evil scientists, he has two daughters.

But Josef Fritzl has daughters too—in fact, he has even more daughters than President Obama—so he must be a better authority on the matter, right??
When I see shit like this, I can't believe people whine about Obama guy being "liberal." Seriously.
Letting teenagers have access to contraceptives does not encourage them to have sex anymore than seatbelts encourage people to drive recklessly. Parents should have no say in the matter, just like that mother who denied her kid cancer treatment because it was against her "religion" should have no say in the matter. The fewer pregnant teenagers, the better, even if it means acknowledging that some of them actually do have sex and keep things from their parents.
Ideally, kids would be more open with their parents, but this is the real world. No amount of consequences or authoritarian parenting will change that. In fact, it'll probably make your kids even more secretive and rebellious.

We need what I would call "Secular Missionaries"......People who go on the streets & whatnot and share the information that the media, schools, etc. refuse to share.
There should also be an equivalent for 3rd World societies concerning religious fundyism, women's/LGBT rights & health matters.
You need to change the societies' mindset for positive social change to really stick.

These are the people who think that if 17 year olds are given plan b that schools will start passing out condoms to first graders.
