Colorado Springs is an extremely weird place. We have the Airforce Academy AND Focus On The Family right there, so we get a lot of strong conservatives and fundie christians. This doesn't surprise me at all, really.

Colorado Springs is where Dr. Quinn lives. And Dr. Quinn is the man.
Edit: On a slightly related note, I wonder what the fundies were using to lure the kid. Candy is so cliche. I bet it was a Bible.

I'm more worried about the religious guys molesting my kids than the free candy guys, actually. This. The church van could have been a cover up.

All I saw was "Church lures children into van" and my first thought was, "WTF, didn't their parents teach them not to get into cars with strange people?"

Public schools are not the right place to be proselytizing. Sure, why not? One stop indoctrination shopping. All I saw was "Church lures children into van" and my first thought was, "WTF, didn't their parents teach them not to get into cars with strange people?" Well, fortunately they did. (Or the kid had enough common sense anyway.)
