What I want to know is, how the hell can a search engine be 'liberal'? It's not like it's a website with content slanted one way or the other, it just...brings up websites for you. I mean, if you put in the right search terms it brings up Rapture Ready...a site running some 'evil liberal conspiracy' probably wouldn't do that. You know the Stephen Colbert quote that goes something like "reality has a known liberal bias?" It's kinda like that, minus the satire.

Heh, I thought about that, too. The one thing I could think of is different search engines yield different results. So, if you were completely, ridiculously detached from reality, you could argue that the results are specifically filtered to maintain a liberal bias. Or just say Satan does it. Edit: As for Rapture Ready coming up in the results, obviously, this is just another example of how awesomely powerful Jesus is, by thwarting Satan's wiles! (I'm gonna go take a steak kinife to my fingers, now....) Believe it or not, for the past few months there've been allegations that a search engine out of China (for the life of me, I can't remember which one) has been deliberately fudging its search algorithms and results displays so that companies who've paid to advertise with them come up at the top of the search rankings. If true, then it's actually not that far of a stretch to believe that other search engines could be fudging things for other reasons.

It's not that far of a stretch to accept it as possible.
It's tinfoil hattery to state it based on the notion that since someone has done it for another reason, these guys might do it for this reason.
It's similar to stating that all Christians are pedophiles because of a couple of specific cases. It's true that it's no stretch to believe a Christian *could* be a pedophile, but it certainly is a stretch to base an assumption of pedophilia on their status as Christians...Just like it's a stretch to accuse as the RRer was doing.

Particularly since RaptureReady isn't accusing Google of bias based on their results, but on a logo picture that has nothing whatsoever to do with their results.

In any case, tell me again when they've ever needed sufficient evidence to believe something in the past? Unless it's macroevolution, of course. Then you'd damn well better turn that cat into a porcupine.

I just put "computer programming" into Seekfind.org since there's really no way for it to be loaded either way for/against religion. The first result:
"1. AVIDA Evolutionists using evolution-based computer programs to prove evolution It has long been known by Darwinists and non-Darwinists alike that neithe..."

There's something scary about a person who refuses to see the other side of an issue to the point where he or she pretends that other side doesn't even exist. Half the people on RR seem to brag about being willfully ignorant...not something I'd brag about, myself...
