Final Fantasy VII Advent Children Complete came out today...for Blu-Ray...essentially meaning that the only way I can watch it is if I upgrade to a PS3. Who the Hell owns one of those, anyway?

I certainly don't. Then again, the most current console I own is a PS2. Is it only on blu-ray for now, or is it going to be exclusively blu-ray?

Do you have a movie/game rental place that rents out consoles? I haven't been to my local Blockbuster for a few years, but last I knew, they were renting out the current consoles of that time. I honestly would never pay 400 bucks for a console, even if I intended on using it for everything it's made for. I'm usually more than happy to wait a year or two for the price to get slashed.

RH: I'm not above it, no.
BH: If I just wanted to watch it, I could find it on the internet. I want to own it & be able to watch it every now & again, which is where the problem comes in.
Harley: Is it wrong that, when I saw that you responded, I half-expected you to tell me to become an hero?

With a PS3 you can download and play Final Fantasy VII as well now?

If you want me to tell you to become an hero for old times sake I will. But since you expected it I won't.

With a PS3 you can download and play Final Fantasy VII as well now? I intend to do that on my PSP. I suppose, if worse comes to worst, I can download ACC on my PSP, but--I feel so fucking cheated. Getting downgraded to this tiny screen that I have to develop a neck cramp to watch a 10 minute cutscene on, let alone a full length movie? Bull. Shit.

Especially because you'll have to recharge the battery half way through the movie.

Especially because you'll have to recharge the battery half way through the movie. I've tested the battery several times. It lasts for an average of around 3-4 hours. More than enough time to get through ACC. However, I wonder...why wouldn't I just keep it plugged in...? Unless I'm on a trip or something, of course.
