Was season 2 of Digimon the one about this kid who draws his own Digimon and it comes to life or something? I think I watched all if not most of that season. It was ok. Season 1 is still my favorite. That was 3. Started about as much as, if not more innocent than any of the rest, but it steadily got disturbing, then quickly dove into a complete & utter mindfuck after Leomon died. Also, I didn't HATE Season 2, it just wasn't one of the best. My favorite is 3. Then 1. My order of preference is 1234. Haven't seen 5. Mostly I hated what's his name in 3. Takato, wiki tells me he was called. He was so fucking annoying.

Takato was a pretty cool guy. Although his goggles weren't nearly as awesome as Tai's and later Davis.

Yeah, what was wrong with Takato?
And yeah, we would have had them without the fusion. They'd been doing fine without it for the previous 2 seasons.
And Terriermon was actually old. He appears in the movie.

I just remember I found him annoying. It's been ages since I last saw an episode of 3, can't tell you what exactly it was that bothered me about him.

I've only seen one episode of season four and that bothered me more than the fact there were several different train type Digimon. The Trailmon race episode was more a gag episode than anything else. The first half of the series had a number of such change-of-pace episodes scattered throughout in order to help keep the mood that other Digimon series had up to that point. Really, the most disturbing thing about season 4 is the fact that Zoe's only 11 and yet even in the dub she's used for fanservice; her two digimon forms effectively have her strutting around in lingerie, the camera angles linger on her butt & chest during the transformation, and a beach episode had her modeling swimsuits. Sora was consistently shown as having a tomboy streak (that is, whenever she wasn't suffering a mental breakdown) and so it'd only be logical for her to have some sort of safety gear within easy reach. Plus, given the somewhat large cast it made a good deal of sense to have each of the characters dress in as different and gaudy an outfit as the designers could think of in order to help viewers tell the kids apart.

Yep; IIRC, JP was the oldest at 14. Zoe's pure lolicon bait.

Do I want to know what lolicon is? It's a little like cartoon pedophilia.
