What, no MacGyver Land? It would be the place where things get creatively fixed without a reliance on the superior firepower doctrine. Maybe Canada if we get caught up in the termoil. Red & Green could be two of the new provinces.

People, please stop dissing Texas. My grandparents on my father's side live there, and they're the only family members I consistently get along with. Granted, my step-grandfather (grandmother's second husband) would probably support this crap, but I still want my grandma, dammit!

People, please stop dissing Texas. Texas is a pretty cool place if you ask me. Austin is one of the most liberal cities in the nation - Walk down 6th street and it's almost impossible to be the weirdest, most tattooed, oddest looking person within sight. And to give Texas more credit, although they have a very conservative reputation collectively, as far as being aggressively so, the citizens are very laid back. Most have an very tolerant "live and let live" attitude. Obviously, some of the state's legislation doesn't bear that out, but I can only speak from my "man on the street" position while living there. I lived there for two years and taught English at a very small community college. We were in the middle of nowhere, and in my department alone, we had a gay Catholic, a Puerto Rican Jew, a Canadian/Indian atheist, a German Muslim, a few of Scott/Irish Baptists, and other assorted misfit un/believers. The whole school was like that.

Perfect.
I wish I'd had that available Nov. 4th when every single forum I frequent had Republicans claiming that they were taking down their American flags for the next four years. Hypocrites.

Tiger- WTF is going on with your icon? That looks...disturbing. It's a man and a tiger standing together. Not meant to be dirty.

I've been wondering about that a while myself, cause it looks like that man is quite happy, if'n you know what I mean. [ETA] And what's that thing coming off the tiger's head? A lamp? An eye stalk?

[ETA] And what's that thing coming off the tiger's head? A lamp? An eye stalk? A staff. It's an avatar I had made for a roleplaying site of a druid and his animal companion. Here's what it looks like when it's not shrunk down:

But Austin is great, yeah. It's got the flagship Whole Foods down there, it's got great clubs, great liberal atmosphere, FANTASTIC live music...it's almost like a weird blue blip in the sea of redness lol.

.....Chuck Norris does not cry, he becomes Ann Coulter. I made him cry - and then I made him cry again! (I forced him to watch that Borat movie.)

If they really want their own country there all these asteroids just siting there.
I mean, if they stay here, cons seem determined to make the Earth into a large dead rock anyway. Why not give them a head start?

Why do right wingers hate USA so much? Chuck Norris seems to fit the description of a traitor if you ask me and should be tried for treason.
Did someone send that link to Secret Service yet?
