www.rr-bb.com/showthread.php?t=104011Someone wants to know if they should bring their stepdaughter and her girlfriend to church and to a birthday party. They decided no on the birthday party, because of the impressionable younger children. Unless these girls are kissing or something, how can anyone tell they're dating? Most girls hold hands and stuff anyway. This girl also taught a 7 year old to say "sexy." So of course, the RRedians say she should be kept away from the children. Just...wow. The stepdaughter would be smart to cut them from her life as soon as she can.

That's pretty dumb 'n' all, however I don't think it's any dumber than the usual load of horse shit they come up with.

I read that thread a few days ago. It was pretty facepalm worthy.
Anything outside of their WASP ideal of the world is immediately shunned. I just learned to avoid those people and this stepdaughter will too, eventually.

Interesting that this woman has such a problem with her stepdaughter's bisexuality, but is married to a man who is either divorced or had a child out of wedlock. Here's somebody else that's picking which rules she wants to follow.

I think the OP in the thread in talking jive. She knows her step-daughter is bi and still allows her to stay in the same neighborhood as the family and impressionable children.
That is so unlike Rapture Ready.

That is so unlike Rapture Ready. Yeah, whatever happened to their "Run him/her out of town" philosophy? They're not much for democracy, so I'm guessing they're just gonna try the old "ignore it until the problem goes away" trick.

Here's somebody else that's picking which rules she wants to follow. Oh yeah, I noticed that too. There's two verses in the bible about homosexuality but about a billion(hyperbole) against divorce. ESPECIALLY remarrying after a divorce. Eat a dick, hypocrites.

The girl's mother is still alive. She mentions her later on in the thread.

Yup, what this 15 year old girl who is bi needs is more churching. Some fire and brimstone preacher man to scare the devil right outta her. Acceptance, love? Nope. She got the gay and needs the blood of jeebus.
Actually, one thing did impress me a lot there. The stepmom said the girl's sexual orientation would not stop stepmom from loving stepdaughter. While she may not agree with the chioces, the love would never waiver. Pretty cool on her part, especially when you consider it's RR.

Yeah, it's mostly "'tolerate' and nag, nag, nag until the little snot finally sees things our way and converts hallelujah praise the Lord"
