In an article for the Daily Beast Meghan McCain, yes John's daughter, criticizes Ann Coulter for being "offensive, radical, insulting, and confusing all at the same time". She also asked if Coulter is for real in some of the things she says or if she really has the GOP interest at heart saying; "Is she for real or not? Are some of her statements just gimmicks to gain publicity for her books or does she actually believe the things she says? Does she really believe all Jewish people should be “perfected” and become Christians? And what was she thinking when she said Hillary Clinton was more conservative than my father during the last election? If you truly have the GOP’s best interests at heart, how can you possibly justify telling an audience of millions that a Democrat would be a better leader than the Republican presidential candidate?"She also make a guess as to why people watch Coulter saying "Maybe her popularity stems from the fact that watching her is sometimes like watching a train wreck."
She then finished the artical asking "I love the Republican Party, but if it turns out I am somehow not conservative enough to please its leaders, it makes me wonder—am I then not worthy of even being a member?"Finally a McCain I like! Link to the article: www.thedailybeast.com/blogs-and-stories/2009-03-09/my-beef-with-ann-coulter/ By the way check out some the hateful comments by the people who don't think she is conservative enough.

This is interesting. I do wonder how Ann Coulter is going to take this. Considering that the Rush and Ann show hasn't been sitting well lately, it won't suprise me if she handles it with the usual venom.

This is a "cat-fight" I'd like to see! McCain would kick Coulter's scrawny ass every which way but loose. That I would PAY cash money to watch!

I've never been quite sure what to make of Ann Coulter....is she really the heartless psychopath she makes herself out to be? Is she the world's stealthiest troll? I'm leaning towards the heartless psychopath label based on the remarks she unapologetically and callously hurls at innocent people, be they Supreme Court Justices, the staff of the New York Times, Jews, Muslims, atheists, 9/11 widows, Iraqi civilians, liberals....it's as if someone took Scarlett Johansson and Fred Phelps and stuck them in a blender. God, just look at that sadistic, shit-eating grin and those creepy bug-eyes. She has that eerie, glazed-over-yet-happy look of a mentally deranged woman who was just caught drowning her kids in the bathtub because "Jesus told her to"....

it's as if someone took Scarlett Johansson and Fred Phelps and stuck them in a blender. Not enough Scarlett in the mix, IMO. How come so many evil people (on federal political level) are so ugly? And how come they have such woderful Dickensian names? God, just look at that sadistic, shit-eating grin and those creepy bug-eyes. She has that eerie, glazed-over-yet-happy look of a mentally deranged woman who was just caught drowning her kids in the bathtub because "Jesus told her to".... Certainly, there is a lot of that in Anne's face, but I don't think it's possible to get THAT high in TV without sanity. I mean really, there's a lot of rat cunning in that wiry frame. On a side not: when I saw that picture (I'll save everyone the horror of seeing it twice), Itunes flicked from 'Sorry seems to be the Hardest Word' to the Twilight Zone.

And my dear...Miss. McCain, do you have your party at heart or the country at heart (it can't be both)?
And yes, I can truly say voting democrat was better no matter what party because MCCAIN SUCKED

Good for Meghan McCain. I respect that she's saying something against big-mouthed bigots like Ann Coulter. The GOP won't survive by caving in to the mouth-breathers. If more people follow Meghan McCain's example, maybe the GOP will once again become a viable second party with ideas besides "hate minorities" and "tax cuts."
I just hope she doesn't end up feeling compelled to apologize like Michael Steele (who is getting more embarrassing by the second.)
