Ok I know my thread title doesn't sound very smart but I am wondering does anyone know about that test that they do on your DNA to determine what parts of the world your ancestry is from? I am interested in seeing if I can get it done and if any one knows how much it will cost or if I could donate for research.
I would look it up myself but I don't know what the test or procedure is called so I can't google it.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks,
Elm

wow that is still quite expensive and even though I am of European ancestry I think I would do the standard test and then save up for the European test.

wow that is still quite expensive and even though I am of European ancestry I think I would do the standard test and then save up for the European test. This was just the 2nd or 3rd item I found on Google. Might be something cheaper. You may actually want to check with an MD. They might know of something less expensive, and some of the more clever ones may find a way to get insurance to pay for it.
