I had a friend staying with me for a few days, and the last film she forced me to watch was My Neighbour Totoro. I say 'forced'... It's not like I resisted.
We started watching The Cat Returns after that, but I was crashing so we couldn't get through the whole thing.

Disturbing, disturbing story. Pfft, I found it cute how it tries so damn hard to be disturbing despite being so badly written.

Road House, cuz it was on tv last night and I had no internet.... before that was Public Enemies. I'm not much of a fan of shoot-em-up movies, but the whole gangster era is kind of fascinating to me. Probably because it was around the same time as the big band swing music era.

Drag Me To Hell I know I'm lagging but my Netflix queue is long, but distinguished. Well, it wasn't at all scary for me, except for maybe the scene in the car park. For me, all I got was a movie that only seemed to try and see how many disgusting things they could put in the protagonist's mouth. That's just gross, not scary. Then there are those that say it supposed to be like other Raimi fare, like the Evil Dead series, and be funny. It's funny a couple of times but for 95% of the movie, not funny for me either. And I hate how telegraphed the ending was. It was so obvious that I thought that it was there just to throw you off of something else that was actually going to happen. But nothing else happened and so it was a big let-down for me.

Død snø (Dead snow.) Tommy Wirkola's brilliant vision of what happens when a few students go to a cabin in the mountains of Northern Norway, to encounter...Nazi zombies! Yes, real nazi zombies, dead since WW2. The result is an over the top splatter comedy.

I watched Kingdom of Heaven on Saturday after not seeing it for the better part of two years. My reaction was the same when the movie ended though:
Girlfriend: God Orlando Bloom is hot.
Me: Maybe, but it's a sad sad day for him when he gets out acted by a guy wearing a mask the entire damn movie.

I just got back from watching How to Train Your Dragon. The 3D made me a bit woozy in some of the fast moving parts, but the movie itself was great! I might have to go and see it again
