I thought I was getting the new version but it ended up being the old one - just 'uncut'. Is the new one better?

No, the one that came out in 2000 something is terrible.

Transamerica.
Been wanting to watch it for a while. Not bad, but I guess I expected better.

I watched like 70 minutes of Jennifer's Body. I didn't even want to finish it. It wasn't interesting, wasn't scary, wasn't funny, and at times it was downright annoying.

Did Arnold make an appearance in The Expendables? I thought I saw him in the commercial. If I've understood correctly he is in the movie. Him and Bruce Willis both make a 5 minute cameo in the same scene to basically nod and wink at the camera lol. Shame they both don't do more ass-kicking in the movie. When I seen it after Stallone said Arnold wants to be president someday the whole theater burst into laughter.

Just watched Shutter Island. It was okay. I think the plot that was going before the twist was better than what actually happened.
Then I watched Mysterious Skin. Good movie, but don't watch before or after eating. There isn't that much gore, the subject matter and plot provide all the disgust. I was ready to puke 15 minutes in.

I'm glad I never did see it.

She can't act and she's not sexy. I don't understand her popularity.

Watched I Hope They Serve Beer In Hell this weekend. First half was a frat boy jerkoff type movie, second half was pretty good.

Transamerica. Been wanting to watch it for a while. Not bad, but I guess I expected better. Haven't seen it yet; my peeve was with the original DVD cover, which did not depict Felicity Huffman as she appeared in the movie, but used a glamor shot straight out of "Desperate Housewives." Julia Serano in her book "Whipping Girl" stated her biggest issue with the movie was that it seemed to treat the gender of Huffman's character as artificial and superficial. When I see it I'll draw my own conclusions.

She nearly made my twitching eye pop out of its socket when I was watching Transformers 2. God, that movie was awful. My aunt was telling me that when she went to see Transformers 2 she memorized everything Megan Fox wore to tell her male co-workers since they're apparantly like every 16-year-old boy when it comes to Megan Fox. It made me feel like I was the only person who watched either Transformers movie for giant robots. Last movie watched: Digimon Tamers: Battle for Adventures. Decent movie, but it's no Our War Game. EDIT: Dragon Boys. Good movie about Chinese gangs operating in I presume Ontario. I don't recall a city or province mentioned, but Ontario has a high Chinese population.
