Alice by Neco z Alenky: Bizarre artsy version of Lewis Carroll's story. Lots of animal skull puppets.
Mary & Max: Awesome claymation about a young Australian girl who writes Max, a man living in New York with Asperger's syndrome.

Shutter Island, pretty good, first half carries the suspense really well. Too bad part of the ending was rather obvious.

Hachi: A Dog's Tale good movie, but you will be crying your eyes out by the time it's over.

The Bucket List: It's made of fantastic, every actor is awesome and the film managed to warm my cold cynical heart.

You give Morgan Freeman too much credit.

I saw Paranormal Activity 2 at midnight last night and was not disappointed. It went nicely with the first one. I expected a random, shitty sequel.

I saw Paranormal Activity 2 at midnight last night and was not disappointed. It went nicely with the first one. I expected a random, shitty sequel. We just got back. My fiancee screamed several times, and I jumped several times. It wasn't bad, but the camera-to-camera got a little repetitive after a while. I thought the husband's little pool joke was funny though. Just a thought. I'm not expert on demons, but they seem to just be beings of evil energy (which I don't understand since 'evil' is subjective). Why are they always demons of Christianity who are beaten by crosses? First of all, considering how much blood has been shed in God's/Jesus' name, the demon should just laugh at the cross. And second, what about beings who are outside Christianity? It'd be funny to see a priest hold up a cross, only to hear a disembodied voice; "I'm an atheist, dumbass!"

After awhile, the entire theater laughed every time it showed the camera by the pool with the vacuum-thing cleaning the water. It became a meme. As for the demons, I'm guessing that producers are merely catering to the greatest common denominator. The majority of audience members will recognize the cross and possibly what it stands for, allowing them to delve deeper into the overall theme of the film.

A couple of Scooby-Doo movies. Don't remember the full names.
One was the how the gang met and began solving mysteries and good God was that movie bad. Maybe it's just because it's not the original tale everyone knows and has grown to love, but I sure did not like it.
And the other one was Velma's sister was a main character and took place at a magic school that was being terrorized by a griffon. That was a good Scooby-Doo movie.

Scooby Doo and the Curse of the Lake Monster.
I should stop watching live-action Scooby Doo movies.
