Now you point it out, that is weird. Don't know why it bothered me so much though, it just did.

Story Of Temple Drake(1933) one of my favorite pre-code films. It's loosely based of Faulkner's novel Sanctuary.

Saw Tron and enjoyed it. Saw Black Swan and thought it was awesome.

Watched Wolf Creek again. God it sucks, the only redeeming part of it is the torture scenes, which are delightfully fucked up

The Man From Earth. I particularly liked the "I'm Jesus" bit.

Last movie seen in a theatre: "The King's Speech." Colin Firth looked nothing like King George VI but he was excelllent, as were the rest of the cast. (Churchill was played by the guy who played Nathaniel in "Enchanted"; he looked more like an overfed Richard Nixon than Churchill.)
Last movie seen on TV: "I'm All Right, Jack," the Boulting brothers' satire on labor relations as they existed in Britain in 1959. Featured Peter Sellers' first non-Goon film role, as the unctuous shop steward. (The title referred to the phrase "fuck you, Jack, I'm all right," bowdlerized in the film to "blow you, Jack, I'm all right.") Funny thing, the BBFC gave it a U certificate (equivalent to a G rating) in spite of mild oaths and some female nudity!

Just got back from seeing The King's Speech. Just brilliant -funny, moving touching etc. if the film and particularly Colin Firth doesn't clean up come awards season I will shit in the Queen's hat.

127 Hours. Very much a film about a man stuck in a hole sawing his arm off. But also excellent, and strangely uplifting.
Watching the whole cinema wince at once was also quality entertainment.

Is 127 Hours the one about Aron Ralston, the guy who got his arm trapped while hiking in Utah or wherever?

Yes, it is. I'm gonna see it when it comes to town... and wince along with everyone else.

The Fighter. Really good movie. They did a good job of telling Ward's story. It was kind of weird though living in MA and recognizing all the different areas where it was filmed.

TRON Legacy. I found that it's enjoyable if you forget the first movie ever existed and try to watch it along as some mindless fun.
like it seems with most sci-fi movies, i'd watch it again, but there's just so much you can pick on. despite this, i found it mildly entertaining.
