Well, no matter how much you hate what someone says, or their ideas, you don't get the right to attack them with hammers. You *CAN*, however, use your words like a grown up and speak out against his idiocy. THAT

THAT is what most people actually do, and pretending this attack represents the rule, rather than the exception is disingenuous to say the least, though.

Yet if the roles were reversed, the same would not be said here. The BNP is no longer purely populated by insane skinheads, yet certain people here would claim that carbombing and hammer attacks are applicable upon their entire membership. Funny that.

" The BNP is no longer purely populated by insane skinheads"
It's still inherently racist as a party, though, something which is undeniable.
"certain people here would claim that carbombing and hammer attacks are applicable upon their entire membership."
I haven't seen that said. Certainly, I've seen folk saying they've very little sympathy for them, and find the BNP's braying about their poor, innocent members being attacked by a vast commie-liberal conspiracy whilst simultaneously maintaining their arms-length relationship with Redwatch et al a little hard to swallow. That's not actually endorsing the attacks.

That's not actually endorsing the attacks. I wasn't naming names. And yeah, a bit of schadenfreude would be in order if it weren't for the sinister overtones of the whole business. When our political process suddenly devolves into bands of thugs using violence to intimidate the opposition, it's a sad reflection on society. There are enough people in this country who aren't retarded enough to vote for the BNP that all this bullshit is completely unnecessary. All it really does is give them something new to shout about from the podium and simultaneously make their enemies look just as bad as them.

Yes, I suppose "certain people" might. Those people are what we colloquially call "Stupid Asshats".
