Yeah!!! Another thread displaying my lack of knowledge of tech. So what should I look for in a digital cameras. I have a old easy share camera, and I liked it alot. Took great pics. The only reason I'm upgrading is because the sd disk won't stay in the slot and you need the stupid printer base to charge it.

I have a Canon Powershot G3 that I bought used.
I love it - there's an "auto" setting that makes it a basic point and shoot camera, but there are enough bells and whistles that I can get creative with.
