www.thelocal.se/22610/20091012/Bunnies are alot quicker. Its a good idea if they gotta get rid of the dead ones anyway, although it seems like some swede was just sitting at his desk thinking "How can I get animal environmentalists and renewable energy environmentalists into a fistfight?"

The problem with "other options," such as sterilization, is that the expenses involved in doing so can get every bit as out of hand as the population of the animals in question. If you have a small enough town or a joint with a tight budget, these alternatives may simply be out of the question.

This I like. Here in Australia we have both a huge problem with rabbits (Brits thought it would be a good idea to bring them over, not a good idea to say the least) and a dependence on coal. Maybe if we can do the same with foxes and toads we'll have a solution to both our feral animal problem and dependence on coal!

It is a good idea, they have to do something with the dead rabbits so why not use them for fuel.

I reckon it's a great idea, and one that is neatly scalable to society as a whole.
Commutards, gypsies, gingers, chavs, animal-rights fuckwits...im sure there's a lot of chemical energy neatly stored in these monstrously mutated subhumans just begging to be transferred into useful, clean, productive energy.
