I can't tell a difference between these two sub forums. They're the same no?
Perhaps they should be combined?

Read this in your best Old Testament voice:
"In the Beginning, Distind created the General Board..."
They are basically the same in function. But the General Board was thrown up first when we made the trek over to Proboards to give people a place to start posting and to explain what had happened to everyone. The other forums under FSTDT Community like Politics, F&B, etc. weren't up yet. They came a few days later.

The main difference that I have seen is that the lounge tends to be a little more spammy, especially since Thread Killer lives there.

General forum is accessible for everyone, including guests - people who are not registered and thus members. Lounge is only available to registered users - members.
