No you see Vene that even if those other Christian denominations are not true Christians they still count because they believe in the Christian God, as do the Jews. That's because they all believe in the Islamic god, of course.

"Something can't come from nothing."
Actually, that's a canard. Something comes from nothing all the time. All around us. Subatomic particles appear and disappear ALL THE GODDAMN TIME. Out of nothing, and back into nothing.
Show him this and blow his tiny mind:

Show him this and blow his tiny mind:*snip* I told the guy before about Quantum Theory and the uncertainty principle, along with certain predictions of Quantum Theory (virtual particles) and consequences of that. He just dismissed it by repeating "everything has a cause, proved by trillions of causes around us". The guy's a parrot, nothing more.

It appears you have to be registered. Fuck that noise.
Why were you banned?

Because he disagreed with the first step of the perfect proof.
Is there anyone else on that site at all?

There may have been time before the Big Bang, though, what with the whole string theory thing.
Well, that seems a rather stupid reason to ban someone. What was the justification? "You're persecuting me"?

A few quick refutations. Something can't come from nothing without a cause is not true. Particle anti-particle formation occurs in vacuums. Further, some mathematical formalisms suggest that while matter and energy represent positive energy, gravity, as caused by the curvature of spacetime is negative energy. Thus, energy can be created from nothing if this formalism accurately describes the universe. Additionally, to make the big bang model work in light of quantum mechanics, one has many routes that involve a universe that existed forever. In one such model, the known universe is a bubble in a universe dominated by inflationary energy where the occasionally pockets of non-inflation form. The universe can exist forever w/o having to worry about entropy b/c it constantly expands and each pocket is entirely cut off from others. Another idea involves extra dimensions and branes coming together and apart in one of these very short dimensions. I'm not quite sure how it works, but near as I can tell, in each cycle of bang and crunch, the entropy goes somewhere else where we don't have to worry about it.

Clearly Super God caused God. Well yeah, why do you think regular god is called "lord" rather than "king" or "emperor" or some other shit.

No, no, no, Emperor God is the cause of Super God.

As to the whole epiphet thing, personally, most times I hear the title "Lord," it's being used as the highest title. Then again, that could be BECAUSE of Yahweh. Lords were below the King, afterall.
