WTF was with the first answer? "Start a Young Republicans club. Try looking in the math or science departments for a faculty sponsor'. What idiot would think the SCIENCE department would want to sponsor a freaking republican club?! These are the guys that have been holding back stem cell research purely for religious reasons.
The second answer was more normal though.

Repubs aren't all neanderthals, you know. I hear there are a few who actually believe the Earth revolves around the sun, even.

Math and science departments? WTF? I thought the conservatives hated us. I mean, we're the ones pushed stem cell research, evolution, saying that sexuality is inborn, we're the ones who say the globe is warming, that humans should use less energy, we're the environmentalists, and we're the ones who use logic and reason instead of faith. We are not their allies by any means. Try the business department, maybe the engineers if you want somebody intelligent. I'm not sure if the scientists are more likely to be liberal than the humanities department or not.

"The education system is a complete socialistic cult with no
redeemable qualities!
Edit: Look at the schools in California...they are forcing
students to take muslim names and make jihad!"

Dissect this for me :
"Very true. Most are converted in colleges by liberal professors who "teach" their world view and indoctrinate their students.
Believe me I know. I went to one of these Liberal *** colleges. Don't get me wrong, we get the best education in the world at our Universities but you have to resist the liberal pull. Much of which is forced upon you.
If your in school now and this is happening, fight back. These people have but the flimsiest of ideas but their power is great. Dont be rude when you do it. But study up and when one of these clowns tries to pull that crap on you slam them with indisputable facts that blow holes in their entire argument.
College education @ liberal University.........$90,000 Access to the public library.............................$0 Book that proves your professor wrong..........$0
Seeing the stunned look on your professors face when you expose him for the biased liberal he is in front of the entire class......................Priceless."

Do you have any evidence that college professors are, on average, more liberal than regular Americans? Or are you just talking out of your arse? And, were this true, what would it say about what is called conservatism that the best qualified in the land to discus these issues disagree with Republicans on them?
For my own part, I was very happy to correct my tutor on her argument that Adam Smith wanted unregulated capitalism by pointing out his support for the protectionism in England, progressive taxation and public education.
Of course, in doing this students are learning the skills that are the entire point of most university arts courses: cricial thinking, critical argument, ect. So, in disagreeing with them, you are actually letting them win.

Fred, American professors are more liberal than the typical American. "72 percent of those teaching at American universities and colleges are liberal and 15 percent are conservative" link

'A strong defense' means national suicide and imperialism. 'Reagonomics' is the economic equivilent of flat earth theory or creationism. And 'Solving Social programs 101' teaches the places you can hit blacks without leaving a mark. But it's the liberals who indoctrinate with their hypocritical euphemisms and double-speak.

Fred, American professors are more liberal than the typical American. "72 percent of those teaching at American universities and colleges are liberal and 15 percent are conservative" linkSo a poll funded by a radical right group and that relied on out-of date census data was published in another reasonably extreme right-wing paper? Yeah, that's going to be objective and conform to scientific norms. I'm not disputing that the smartest, best qualified people in the country might be overwhelmingly Democrat, but this poll doesn't show it. Get me something from gallup or somebody.

And here I thought Reaganomics was completely discredited by, oh, basic facts and history. Imagine my surprise to discover people still think that shit made sense.

If you can't read it, or want a summary read this. From page 53 of the study: Or is Harvard an nonobjective source?

Yea, that's pretty much a good source. I'm paranoid because I come from a country where a lead newspaper (owned by Rupert Murdock) which openly supports one party funds a polling agency even though it's not very scientific or objective in order to make it appear that Australians agree with them.

Dude, enough is enough. Seriously. Nobody here cares about Yahoo Answers, or takes anything said there seriously. Stop link spamming the forum with your multiple threads. ETA: D'oh? I'm too slow. Oriet beat me to it.
