www.worldlifeexpectancy.com/sort.phpHas this been posted before? This is supposed to be a fairly complete listing of the world's life expectancies and the ranked numbers of deaths attributed to certain illnesses. I'm dubious, however. I mean, Japan's number one in life expectancy, France is number 5, and Australia ( Australia) is number 3.

Austrialia is filled with creature's who's only purposes seem to be kill people and haunt the nightmares of anyone aware of them, maybe?

Just enough people to make everyone terrified.

Just enough people to make everyone terrified. Even the cutest native animals won't hesitate to tear your face off, though, and it seems like anything that wouldn't necessarily poisonous in my area of the world is DEFINITELY poisonous in that area.

Statistic from recent medical prog. The average man Glasgow (the real Glasgow in Scotland) has a slightly lower life expectancy than the average man in the Gaza strip.

Right, but that's the way with most things. I don't think the scorpion-related-death-toll is a significant reducer of the average lifespan of a country of that size.

Australia's average life expectancy is probably dragged down a bit by the poor life expectancy for Aboriginals and Torres Strait Islanders. So we could actually be #2 worldwide if we fixed that.

Mantorok says that the Aboriginals are a problem that must be fixed.
Shameful.

Our low position on that list makes perfect sense to me. I remember in one of my teaching courses, the teacher gave us the statistic that 1 in 3 African-American males in the U.S. is dead or in prison by age 18. And a lot of that, sadly, is gang warfare, not just the lack of healthcare that kills so many Americans every day.
