Sorry to hear that. There is nothing you could have done. This. I don't really know what to say, because I've never really had someone I know die so suddenly, but I do feel sorry for you, and especially for this poor guy's family.

Yeah, I haven't had too many people close to me die either. My dad had a friend who committed suicide a few years ago because he had inoperable (?) lung cancer. It's just weird to think he won't be there any more I guess.

And headache, if you're still around, if you say one word about this I swear to Bast I'll come over there and rip your balls off and feed them to my cat. Anyone who tries to pull a "The guy's an asshole for killing himself!" or anything along those lines will be in a very bad place. Just a warning. Sorry to hear this, Aqualung. There's really not much to be said. There's nothing you could have done to stop him. *Hugs*

Sorry to hear, and I pretty much agree with everyone else. There was nothing you could've done. It does sound like he had some problems to begin with.
Best wishes and thoughts,
Jay

That just all around sucks. Remember, you are allowed to be upset by this, just keep what everybody's said in the back of your mind. And remember where you can come when you need a hug.

((((Aqualung)))) I remember when my best friend's brother took his own life. I had no idea that he was having any problems at all until my sister called me telling me what had happened.

Aqua sweetheart , don't fret. ( gives hug, strokes hair and gives a kiss) You feel so bad because you have a good heart, because you want to save him. But there were no signs, not knowing there is nothing you could have done . And don't feel guilty, you acted like a normal good person at work and it seems there was a to and fro.
These terrible things happen and they often have their roots in profound problems that we will never know.
It's not something that we can easily change, even though we wish there was.

I read the guy's obituary yesterday; he was 32. Gonna be weird going in to work this afternoon. :/ I think you will be alright. I can emphathise a little bit, one of my managers at an old job whom I was very fond of was murdered. I remember going to work and feeling sad and strange at the same time because were not close at all, she was just a friendly lady at my work, and I was uncertain as to why I felt so bad about it. Hope work goes well, who knows, you might have some silly customers and come back with a funny story to share.
