Looks like it trying to go the "slippery slope" route, even though the person fails to realize that its legal to marry one's cousin in many states already.

Yes, a center-right politican is trying to turn the US into a socialist country ...they really need to come up with a Godwin-like law for the words socialism, and socialist

I am SO sick of the slippery slope argument about gay marriage. People at work were going on about it the other day, "if we let gays marry, people will want to marry children/animals/siblings next!" and I dropped the "hey... if you don't like something, say, incest or bestiality, argue against that. But don't try to say "this other thing over here will LEAD to these things I don't like, therefore this thing is wrong." So, that said, why shouldn't we let gay people marry? Other than trying to make it sound like its vaguely related to OTHER stuff you just assume everyone is against?"
Stunned silence.

I just use the 'Consenting Adult Homo Sapiens Sapiens' answer to the slippery slope argument.

This one made me laugh out loud. Edit: WTF? "LOL" changed to "laugh out loud?"

That's been a forum word filter thing for awhile now. A few months, at least, since roughly the alot and grammer substitutions started.
