Nah, the platypus was a duck designed by committee of wizards.

No, the platypus is clearly Nature trolling the rest of the animal kingdom.

Paul Ryan is a hack. The only way I'd vote for him if he was the only one running (which seems to be the case with him) and no write in option.

That image is generally used to denote that someone is a loser.

What is the SDP, and why is it run by Hyacinth Bucket Bouquet? Social Democratic Party. Hyacinth is supposed to be a caricature of a typical voter, who nowadays is a lower middle class type.

I was taken by the last one. You know the nerd one. That image is generally used to denote that someone is a loser. It is a party that, according to a quick google search, advocates for abolishing patents on software and preventing the prosecution or investigation of people for non-commercial uses of copyrighted material (which, seeing as their name translates to "Pirate Party", probably means "downloading the shit out of copyrighted materials for personal use"). So yeah. Losers. Going by their website, even their somewhat good ideas are unrealistic (abolishing patents on medicines would bring down their cost, which is good, but it would give drug companies far less incentive to put the years and millions needed to create new drugs, which isn't). Also, that Communistic chick is really cute. I wish to do things with her. Things that the man pictured below her would disapprove of.

(abolishing patents on medicines would bring down their cost, which is good, but it would give drug companies far less incentive to put the years and millions needed to create new drugs, which isn't). Publicly funded R&D, which then allows any company to manufacture it, which in turn lowers the overall cost of research as company b doesn't have to rediscover company a's drug in order to make a generic alternative. That is at least one aspect of why medicine is so expensive, there's a lot of wasted effort discovering something already known.
