Still deciding. I think I need some more victi--I mean, friends to converse with. I get the distinct feeling that a decent chunk of your posts here are gonna involve me at one point. XD

Who uses AOL Messanger anymore? I wasn't aware it was still 2005. AIM is more reliable than YIM or MSN. I have to use a third party program to even have a chance to log onto MSN and YIM only works for me, no matter which program I use, intermittently (it works better when I'm invisible, there's been times when I try to go visible and it crashes). AIM & YIM are kinda crap compared to MSN, though. I've heard of problems logging on to MSN, but I rarely have them. Sheep, did you say that just so you could put that here?

Yes. Yes I did.
I had problems out the ass with MSN on my old computer such as taking between several minutes or several hours to sign in because it'd keep disconnecting.

AIM puts spyware on your computer and won't come off completely when you tell it to uninstall. That renders it worse than a theoretical IM program that combines all the problems of YIM and MSN with none of the good.

To be fair, Harley, your old computer was practically an abacus, from the way you describe it.

I think you're looking for "Quotes From the IRC," actually. My intention was for this thread to be more for things like MSN/Yahoo/AOL Messenger. I am pretty sure that wasn't an IRC conversation. No. Ms. Mira is correct. That was a PM conversation that happened within the IRC. Do PMs still count as an IM conversation?

It should. The only difference between IRC PMs and normal IMs is that its browser based. So essentially its the same thing

Chi & Deimos: Hey, I can't really "stop" you guys. I'm just worried about this becoming another "Quotes From the IRC" thread, that's all. Also, "IM" doesn't necessarily translate to "one-on-one." Sheep is Harley. Referring to this picture: img843.imageshack.us/img843/8228/pandarenbrewmaster.jpg

That panda does look like a badger, although the armour should be a hint.
That Sand sign probably was put up by the guy who thought a windy road sign on a dead-end road, facing the dead end, with no similar sign going the other way. There was also a "Gravel Road" sign there, in the middle of the gravel section, with no junctions anywhere near it. The only way to get to that sign by road is to drive down the section of road the sign is warning you about.
